Day 8: Write a six-word fortune cookie.

Did I ever tell you guys about my little cousin sister that refers to tea bags as paper bag tea? Gosh, she’s incredible. One of the few people that keep me going, actually. Strange as it seems but she’s like my little daughter, and each time I see her I try to teach her things about life that I was never taught. That and the importance of reading. And Harry Potter. And being happy. I love her lots. And I miss her everyday. You know, she’s a great writer for her age, and a great reader too. She once read The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and asked me definitions of certain words that 10 year old’s are not supposed to know, but I told her anyway. One time, she called her brother’s girlfriend a slut and I was really shocked but sort of started to laugh. And one time, she wrote a story on the importance of being brave and being a good friend. Oh, gosh, I miss this girl too much. She turns 12 this year. Twelve.

Today was the first Saturday in a while that I got off my butt and did stuff. I am proud of myself for not binge watching a T.V. series or just laying in bed blogging even. Yay me. So yeah. It’s 6 AM and I am still up. Why? Just because I can. Simple as that. Hope you guys are all doing okay.

So, a six-word fortune cookie. Huh. Let’s try and make this good. Here goes:

Great happiness and adventure lie ahead.

Okay, you guys, stay happy and be positive,

Meera
